Drawing Conventions
- Slab Cut Voids should be within the BUA outline for habitable floors and within the parking polyline for parking floors.
- Slab Cut Voids drawn within a floor plan are considered to be at the floor level, not the ceiling level, for all floors except the lowest basement.
- For the lowest basement, voids are considered at the ceiling level and are not deducted from the gross parking area.
- All Slab Cut Voids in the basement floor plan should be aligned with those in the floor plan immediately above ground level.
- Example: If there is a stilt floor above the basement floors, a Slab Cut Void polyline should be aligned with the Slab Cut Void polylines in the basement floor plan.
- Slab Cut Void area will be considered in the calculation of the total basement ventilation area.
Check Points
- Voids must be drawn completely within the BUA outline polyline for habitable floors.
- Voids must be drawn completely within the Parking outline polyline for parking floors like Parking, Stilt, Podium, and Basement floor plans.
- Voids must not overlap with other entities within the floor plan like parking units, accessories etc.
